So I go in to the bishop a few weeks ago with Mundy and I thinking we are going to be asked to be the Cub Scout Pack leaders and get the shock of my life instead. I took these pictures to show you the possibility of what my face might have looked like when they told me what they wanted me to do. Unfortunatly, I wasn't prepared for this so I didn't take the camera to get the true expression. They told me that they had been watching me for a couple of months with this calling in mind. Are they crazy? I think so, Mundy disagrees. I've been asked to be the Relief Society President. Just when I thought life couldn't get any crazier. So I bawled for the next 30 minutes or so and took a walk to compose myself before church started and then I started the stake out to see who I wanted to be my counselors and secretary. Thanks to the advice of a wonderful cousin and some inspirtation (I hope) I had picked out these ladies within a few days. On Sunday they will set me apart. All I can ask of all of you is keep my in your prayers, please!

Ha, ha!! I love your pictures! Too bad they don't put a hidden camera in the Bishops office so that you can play-back people's faces when they get callings... it would be hilarious!! You are going to be so great. You are such a caring and happy person. I wish I could say the shock of it all will go away, to some degree it does, but I still have days that I think, "WHOA!! I can't do this!!!" I am glad I have someone to commiserate with! ;)

That's how I feel about the fact that I have a calling too. Lucky for me it is no where near the responsability of yours, but about a month ago I was called to be the personal progress leader for the Young Woman. So far I have yet to understand why, but maybe some day I will feel like it was meant to be.
