Random pics

Yesterday I asked the boys
if they wanted to help with
dinner. Of course they said
yes (love youth and their
excitement for new things
even chores, too bad it
doesn't stick!) so I got out
peelers and potatoes

and they got out their
'chef hats' and went to town.
I figured they'd make a
mess so I just had them do it
on the table. Lilly supervised
and Andrew cut. They had
fun and it eased my work
load!

Here are the bracelets I
made Lilly at our ward's
craft day. Not bad for $6
and my craftiness! (?)

Here is a cute shot of Megan
and Lilly! They both have
such beautiful smiles!

Sometimes before Mundy goes
to bed he watches a movie in
bed. Sometimes Lilly hangs
out with him so I can get
caught up on things or just
have a minute of 'me' time. One
night this is what I found.

I thought this was a
cute pose

This is a face that Lilly
made for a few days. I'm
so glad we caught this pic
because I haven't seen her
make it recently. It didn't
last long. :( It's so cute!

This outfit reminds me of
the sleeper Toby wore in
Labryinth. (one of my all
time favorite movies) It's
just the girl version of it.

Dang it! I forgot to rotate
this before I put it in here.
Sorry. I just had to have
a pic of Jonah like this. We
were getting ready for church
and he came out like this.
He's getting to be quite the
little man!

Jeremy is reading the book
he brought home from
school and Jonah fell right
asleep! It must be exhausting
being a first grader!

This pic was too cute
to pass up. It's looks like
she is rasing her hand.

Andrew helped to make this
poster and helped to carry it
in the Vetern's Day parad
in Washington City.

I was going to another couple of posts but my girl
is awake now so keep checking and I'll get them
up in the next couple of days, hopefully. At least
by the end of the week.

Air show

My dad, Mundy and the
boys went down to Las
Vegas to see the air show
ate Nellis Air Force Base.
They left at 6 am and
stopped in Mesquite, NV
to have breakfast. Then

stayed until dark at the
air show. The boys nearly
fell asleep as they were
walking in the door, but
at the same time they
had plenty to say about
what they saw and did.
Here is what they had to

say about it.
Andrew said: My favorite
jet was the Thunderbird.
My favorite plane was the
B-1. I liked how the Thunder-
bird did all the amazing, cool,
aero dynamic tricks. Such as
the diamond formation even

when they when they turned and twisted. I also liked, The
Patriots did all the aero dynamic tricks. I like how the F-22
would fly vertically in the same spot. As if they were hovering.

Jeremy said: I liked when I
went in the submarine (above
pic). I liked a big plane. I liked
when I saw and F-22 raptor.
I loved it when I got a picture
of it. (They all got a grab bag
with pictures,pins etc.) It was
fun. Mostly, we didn't get to

go in the cockpits so we had to go in the body of the planes.
We went inside a helicopter (2 pictures down). I liked to play
with that big gun, I turned it around and pretended that I
was shooting it. I wish I could be in the army of the planes.
I would get to shoot big missiles. Make sure you go to this
airshow, it's mostly on weekends.

Jonah said: I liked where we
went in the plane and we got
to drive there (the show) in a
bus (shuttle). My favorite
thing was to get a magazine
from a girl and we got to
go in lots of airplanes. And

that's all!
Mundy enjoyed himself quite
a bit but the noise was a bit
much even for him. The kids
were all over the place and
to excited to listen well so that
was a bit aggravating, but
he made it through the day.
My dad vowed that Jonah was
not getting sugar from him again! Dad got to see his
favorite plane and has decided to save $300 dollars so he
can go to California and take
a ride in one one day.
Over all I think they all enjoyed
themselves despite the sun-
burns, crowds and noise.

Changes

Okay, I think everybody is relieved I figured out, with help, how to change my background. Who knows why I can never remember how to do that. A big Thanks to my little sis for helping me out with this, again! Also, something to look forward to is our new family pic. Amanda's friend Alma, who did the black and whites of Lilly, is going to attempt to do our family picture. I say attempt because it is a challenge to get all the boys on board with a smile and looking where they are supposed to. And now we have Lilly to add to the mix, thankfully our Father in Heaven saw fit to bless me with a mellow happy baby ( he knew I couldn't take anything worse). See you soon!

Lilly growing up...

Had to share this big
pretty smile with you.

I liked the look on Lilly's
face it looks like she is
worried for Jonah. Mundy
took the pic so I'm hoping
they were just playing
around.

Here is my angel sleeping.
If I ignore the fussing long
enough sometimes she just
falls asleep on her belly.

Mundy looked up the other
day while I was reading to
Lilly and was surprised to see
her actually looking at the
pictures. I said yeah she does
it all the time. He said the boys

at that age were always looking everywhere else.

I tried to put the video on
of her first bite, but it didn't
like the format or something
so here is some pics of her
eating. We tried spoon fed
a couple of times, but I don't

think she is quite ready for
that yet. So we've just been
adding it to her night bottle.
I have to say it doesn't seem
to make much of a difference
in the length of her sleeping.
These last 2 pictures show
the end result of her eating.
I'm not sure she even got any
of this down. We will just have
to try again when she gets a
little bigger.

Dutton Halloween

Two days before Halloween
were kind of rough on Lilly.
She got her 4 month shots
and ended up with a fever
and was not feeling well at
all. Unfortunately, I missed
out on the Halloween
parade as well as the class
parties.

Here is Jeremy with his class.
He is nearly hiding behind the
desk in the bottom left of the
picture.

Here is Andrew in his
costume. Originally he
wanted to be a suicidal
doctor and then changed
his mind to be a chubby
doctor.

This is a better pic
of Jeremy's costume.
Check out that wingspan!
You can just imagine how
many kids got wapped in
the face! Our niece
Mykenna is sitting next to
him here at our ward's
trunk or treat holding my Lilly in her spider costume. I
didn't realize we didn't get a good pic of her. I'll have to
get one from my sister or aunt.

This costume was so cool,
and it's the only pic we have
of the boys together, I had
to share it. The boys' mom
Annie dressed up as pinhead
from the movie "Hell Raiser"
It was a cool costume. Her
husband Greg is dressed up
as a cowboy. Annie's costume scared the wits out of Jeremy.
He saw her car and went running over, but when he saw
her he backed off quickly. He didn't realize it was her until
he saw his stepdad. Sometimes I wish I had more of an
inclination, and more ability, to be creative and get dressed
up. Oh well. I'm just happy to be the mom!
Hope you all had a great Halloweeen!

Our trip to Monticello for the wedding..

We went to Monticello (Southeastern Utah)
for the wedding of Mundy's cousin's daughter.
(Say that five times fast!!) It was a beautiful
drive and now I wish I would have taken
more pictures. We drove through Moab and
other beautiful places to get there. We are
hoping to plan a trip next year for a week
or so we can explore all of it. It was great to
be able to meet more of Mundy's family and
to be a part of the special event! Thanks
to wonderful family who helped us get down
there.
This picture
is of, I believe,
Horse Head
Mtn. Now maybe
you artsy types
will see it right
away, but I had to
see a painting to
be able to see it.

Here I am holding Lilly
next to the heater. It
was dang cold for us
southern utahns!

These are Mundy's
cousins Jim and Tammy.
Jim was the DJ for the
event.

Here are the bride and
groom. Jessica and Avery
are a wonderful couple
and they were so happy
that day. I loved being
able to share the day
with them!

The guy in the Pink vest
is the bride's father. Mundy
and Fritz grew up together
and are quite close. They
often caused trouble together,
oh the stories I've heard! Fritz
is standing next to his wife
Sarah (the blond lady). And
she's standing next to the groom's mother. Fritz and Sarah
are outstanding people and as I've come to know them I've
grown to love them.

Here Lilly and I are standing
outside the temple waiting
for the bride and groom to
emerge. Big thanks to cousin
Melissa (Jim's wife) who
watched Lilly while I was at
the sealing!!!

This picture is pretty dark
but here is some of Mundy's
family. Standing next to
me with her back to the
camera is Melissa who is
talking to Jim's mom
Barbara (Mundy's aunt).
Jim is a little behind and
to the left of her. Two of their kids, Jimmy and Akira,
are hanging out close by and you can see Fritz in the
back left.
