This little guy is my super cute and chubby nephew Grey.  I call him chubbers because of all the cute little rolls and big cheeks.

We did a party for Lilly this year as she turned 3. We let the girls decorate their own cookies.  We did a beach party theme.  I decorated a little but didnt' think to take pics of them. Here's Penn and Lilly.

I bought these fun toys at the dollar store that worked really well until the boys got home from Cali and destroyed them.

The girls also played with bubbles. I loved this party because it didn't take a lot of planning but the girls all enjoyed themselves anyway.

Cousins

Here is Anne.  She is a fun aunt and we love being with her.  This day was the day we were meeting the boys mom Annie so they could back to California with her.  While we were waiting we decided to go to the park by Anne's house and let the cousins all hang out.  We had a lot of fun.

This is Anne's daughter Paige.  I used to watch her.  She has grown up so much in the time we moved.

This is Zane.  He is Jonah's age and fun little guy.

Anne and I started a water fight.  We both grabbed onto Andrew and drug him into the water.  Then he and Jimmy drug me into the water and it kept going til everbody was wet.  By the end everybody was wet and having a good time.  It is sure hot in SG.  I am a wimp now.  In Monticello the hottest it's been is about 90.  SG gets that hot in the morning and keeps going from there.  The water sure felt good!

These 3 are close in age and very different in personalities.  But I love them all they are good kids.

 

Later after the boys left with their mom Lilly and I went over to Aunt Cindy's to hang out with her and Anne and the kids.  Justin, Paige, Lilly and Mykenna played in the pool.  It was fun to watch these cousins.  They got on so well.

1st Family Camping Trip of Summer 2012

Lilly has a plethora of facial expressions.  In fact we enjoy sitting down at meals and making faces at one another.  Here is her sad face.  I can't remember if she was really upset or not at the time but it looks like the sad face she makes.

Andrew won't let me take pics of him very often so I'm glad he let me take this.  When we are out camping it's easier to be more relaxed and enjoy each other's company.  So here they kids are making more silly faces.

Jonah has the mad, evil looking faces down pat.  I wonder if I should worry about that.  :)

Mundy's fav thing to do while we are in nature is to sit and carve. He finds it very relaxing.

Almost every time we go camping lately Andrew takes it upon himself to build a fort to play in and sometimes sleep in.  This is the one he made on this camping trip.

Jonah's Birthday 2012

We usually do a party for the kids every other year.  Jonah had some friends over for a Pirate party.  I'm not great at this kind of stuff and this is the first time we had a themed party.  With a small budget we were still able to make it fun.  We started out with Jonah showing the boys how to make pirate hats out of newspaper. Here is the finished product. We also did a walk the plank but the pics didnt' turn out for that.

We did a treasuer hunt and the boys had fun figuring out the clues.

Here's Jonah showing off his gifts.  He loves having his own food so he was stoked when his friend  Fisher gave him popcorn and the cool bear slingshot that he lost less then a week later.

Random summer pics

Our cousin Jessica and Avery Olsen blessed their baby Teegan this fall and we went over to Fritz and Sarah's house afterward to celebrate and spend time with the family and decided to try and take family pics.  The boys were not participating and kept making funny faces this is the best pic we had out of several.  I am going to have to threaten them with strangulation next time I guess!

Our springs are very windy, even more so then Hurricane where I grew up, and this day was particularly windy.  I didn't even want to be out there so I took these pics through the kitchen window.  The boys were sick of being in the house so this is what they did to get out of the house.  These boys are pretty good at learning how to keep themselves busy when mean old mom and dad won't let them spend their days in front of a screen all the time.

One day we hopped in the van to go exploring.  There are so many roads going everywhere that we will be occupied for a long time.  This time we took a road that is a back way to La Sal and found this place to pull of and go for a hike/walk. 

I'm thinking here Jeremy was throwing rocks.

Lilly loves to play in the water and we hadn't dug out the pools yet so we improvised!  She loved it. Our friend Hannah's daughter Olivia thought it was pretty neat too.

Jonah decided he needed to buy some marshmallow creme and shared with his siblings.  Lilly thought it was great and made a big mess while she was eating it. I love the white beard!  :)

So this summer I had a not so fun accident.  I was outside first thing in the morning sweeping cobwebs off the front of the house (there are a lot of spiders here).  I brought the end of the metal broom up into my mouth and the jagged edge hit just right on my eyetooth and broke it off.  A few weeks later and too much money I now have an implant and a temporary crown to make my smile full again. I used this pic because I didnt' want anybody to have to look up my nostrils.  ;)
