Last Day of School 2010

I am a bit of slacker, as you all probably
know by now and waited until the last day
of school after the bell rang to get pics of
the kids with their teachers this year.
Jonah really enjoyed Mrs. Sabiatis this
year. I didn't get a chance to know her
as well as the other boys' teachers. I do
know that she is a great teacher and even
Jonah said that Lilly might end up having
her as a teacher in a few years. I was
impressed with her in that on the last day
of school as she let them out the door that
she was so sad to see them go she was
crying. It was nice to see her love her kids
so much! At the end of the year they did
a reader's theatre and I think Jonah really
enjoyed doing it and he did great at it!

Mr. Judd was Andrew's teacher this year.
I really like him. He has a way of really trying
to teach the kids lessons of morality along with
teaching them the curriculum. I know some
of what he taught was being moral, treating
others the way you would want to be treated,
honesty, working hard, etc. He was a good
teacher for Andrew. Andrew didn't enjoy the
student teacher so much because he was harder
on him then Mr. Judd. He's a little worried he
might end up in Fossil Ridge as a teacher this
coming school year, but he's really hoping not.
One of his favorite activities this year was to
do the rocket launch at the end of the year.
That would be Andrew, he loves all things
science!

Mrs. Paxman is wonder woman! I really got
to her know her as I helped out in her class a
couple of years ago when Andrew was her
student. Back then he enjoyed being the class
clown. Luckily he's eased up on that. She is a
great teacher and my favorite out of all the kids
teachers. She is just amazing and really cares
about her kids in all ways. She pushes them,
encourages them and really does love them and
want the best for them. She has survived two
of my boys and is still in the running. Jeremy
enjoyed making great gingerbread houses in
her class.

It was a crazy year and it seemed even harder
to keep up with then the previous year. I was
totally ready for summer to come. I'm thankful
for the wonderful teachers my kids have had in
the past and look forward to seeing what is
coming this year.

A farewell to some great teachers on the last day of school

Andrew is eleven!

Andrew and I went to lunch on his birthday.
He chose Wendy's. As you can see
he was trying to hide from the camera. I
eventually had to threaten him to get a nice pic.
I wasn't going to post the one that looks like he
was pickin' his nose, but he wanted me to. He
is so excited to move onto Intermediate school
next year. I can't believe how much he has
grown since I first knew him! Love ya kid!

4 new posts!

You know me! I do several at a time so check them all out!!

Andrew's talent

Andrew's class did a talent show. He wasn't sure

what to do for it. I said he could pass gas or burp

as he's really good at those, but he didn't like those

ideas. I wonder why. He came up with this and it

was very cute and original. Jeremy also tried it when

Andrew was practicing before school and couldn't quite

make it to his mouth, but was pretty proud that he

could scratch his head.

Since I didn't get a chance to set up the camera

to a closer shot I thought I should tell you that

is a grape he sticks between his toes. Enjoy!!

Lilly 10 mo

Here is my girl at 10mo.
I've decided to start
letting her eat more of
her own cereal. I'm really
not looking forward to food
being thrown everywhere
and so far she's done
pretty good with it.

She is such a ham for
the camera. Most of
the time she has one
pointed at her she gets
a big smile on her face.
It's just tricky getting the
picture timed right. I did
alright on this one.

Lilly found this monster
truck and had a blast
playing with it and Mundy
thought it was cute and
took several pictures of it.
My girl is getting so big.
She crawls all over the place,

gets into the cupboards and
makes a pretty good mess.
She makes a cute little 'mwaa'
sound when we do the blow a
kiss to her. She's just so much
fun and all of us are so
appreciative to have her in our
family. Mundy and I just

celebrated our anniversary so
we did a picnic on our trampoline
with all the kids. And as we were
sitting there we discussed our
nightly discussion on our good
deed for the day as well as why
each of us were happy to be a
family. All the boys mentioned
how they wouldn't have a sister
if we weren't. It was pretty darn cute.

Science Fair project 2010

This year I slacked off

majorly. For some

reason I didn't get any

pics of Andrew at the

science fair nor of the

completed project.

Help!

All you bloggers out there. How is the best way to deal with
verticle shots? Everytime I put on on my blog it's causes
major problems in how it appears on the page and I can't
seem to figure out to fix them the way I want to. Suggestions???

Jeremy's first and Andrew's last Derby

Here are the boys'
cars this year. Jeremy,
ever into sharks,
decided he wanted a
hammerhead shark.
Andrew went for the
sleek and fast style.

Here is Andrew with his
before the races began.
This was his last year
to participate so he was
hoping to take first place.
He'd done so the year
before and hopes were
high. But mostly he was
just very excited.

Here is Jeremy with his car.
He's so excited for this race
as it's his first year in the
pine wood Derby. He was
a little nervous too because
he had broken off half the
hammerhead in his excitment
to start sanding without dad
around. Luckily dad was able
to fix it. Although he did break
it again after the races were
over.

Jeremy was so very excited
as he made first place out of
everybody. It's kind of dis-
appointing that our ward didn't
get the derby done earlier in
the year because he could
have gone to the Scout Expo

and raced against the other
winners. I'm curious how he
would have done. Andrew
took second. He won the
first race he was in and then
one race against Jeremy.
He was pretty excited too.
Admittedly, Mundy did help
them quite a bit with their cars.
He's not comfortable with handing them a dremal. He knew
of a kid that cut a finger off with one once so he's waiting until
they get older before he will let them attempt that. And we
procrastinated a little bit on getting them started and then
found out a week before when the race was going to be and
the boys' were at their mom's that weekend so Mundy got
nearly everything ready and they helped with the final sanding
and painting the last couple of evenings before the races.
All in all they had fun!

Easter 2010

Easter! I'm finally
getting this one done.
There is alway so
much to do and so
little time I find it
easy to put off the blog.
Well today is catch up
day! Here are the kids
before the hunt. They
are not at all excited.
And here they are
checking out the goodies.
This is Justin and Zane
with Jeremy and Aunt
Cindy in the background.
The boys are all cousins.

Here is Jimmy and
Andrew checking out
their goodies. This is
their last year to part-
icipate as they are now
or soon to be 11 yrs old.

Here is Mike with Paige.

And again with Mundy.
Apparently he was trying
to take a pic of me while
I took a pic of them. Good
thing I'm behind the
camera!!

Here is Vance and
Anne with Paige.

And anytime our sweet
neice, MyKenna,
is around she is
usually holding Lilly.

I do have pics of the actual hunt but the kids
didn't cooperate and always had their back
to me or the sun darkened their face to much
so I decided not to add any of those!
