New Beginnings

Here is the virutal tour of our house as it was in the beginnning. This room is what used to be the previous owners' school rooms since they home schooled their kids.  This has been cleaned up and is now the room that Jeremy and Andrew share until we can get the downstairs renovated.
This is Jonah cleaning what is mine and Mundy's bathroom.  I just can't share one with the boys so they use the other upstairs bathroom and the one downstairs.  This bathroom has a whole ocean motif going on, but one day it will change.  It's very dark as all the walls and the ceiling were painted a dark blue and I'm not a huge fan of ocean motifs.
We put the kids to work cleaning shelves.  Mundy had to paint several of the kitchen cabinets on the inside because it was raw wood and the like.  No liners or paint and the shelves were pretty dirty.
This pic and the one above were taken in the kitchen.  We had stuff everywhere!
This is our living room and our temporary family room until we get the downstairs situated.
 Another shot of the kitchen.
This room is mine and Mundy's.  The oldest daughter was in it and had a thing for horses.  Eventually we will be doing this, but it will probably one of the last.  This house has no master bedroom/bath which I miss immensly.  One day we will change it all, but I'm sure it will be a while yet.
this is Jonah's room.  It has a lot Disney characters on the walls.  I was hoping he would last longer in it the room but he feels like he is too old for it already.  I did warn him that it would be a while before we could get around to painting it.
This is what will eventually become our family room.  This is also where our stove is.  It's something different to have to build fires for heat.  WE've got to find a better way to circulate it through the house, but I'm sure we will get it figured out.
This is the toy room.  Somebody had a thing for Garfield and it is present in nearly every room in the house.  It's kind of nice to not have toys all over the floor of the living room anymore nor in the boys' rooms.  Although I wish I could say the same thing about their clothes.
This is what we call our garage room.  Since we are now sans a garage this is what we are using until we can get one built or even a shed or something.
this is the boys bathroom downstairs.  What did I tell you about the Garfield infatuation.  The mirror even has Garfield on it.
Yet another Garfield even in the pantry.  So weird.  I love having this big pantry though.  It's better then having to stash food storage under beds and in our closets.

More of last days of SG

Wow!  This new set up for blogger is something else.  My pictures are in order of newest to oldest even though I meant for the opposite to happen.  So bear with me.  I'll have to get if figured out.  These first two pics are of our last Christmas in our old home.  We were moving the next day so I didn't have any Christmas decorations up. In fact we had loaded up the moving truck a day or two before so that we could enjoy the holidays with our family.  Of course the camera died after just a couple of pics.  We just had all the kids come in our room to open their presents before we went over to mom and dad's for dinner and to see our family on my side.

I had to add this pic and will probably post this on fb because it's a memory from the old days.  My friend Christopher (Topher) decided we needed to staple this so we would have our '70's shag in the garage.  Reminds me of the old gang from Worldmark and the friends I made.

This is Lilly with her Aunt Kristi and Uncle Dion.  They came to visit shortly before we moved.

Aunt Kristi wanted a pic of all the kids so I decided to grab one too.  My kids look so much older even half a year later.  Oh how they grow!!

This is one of my favorite things about Mrs. Paxman.  All 3 of the boys had her in 3rd grade and we were there just long enough for Jonah to make this too.  She had all kinds of goodies for them to make these gingerbread houses.  She had the frosting down to a science and it was so much fun for all the kids and the houses were always so cute!

This is the first time I gave Lilly jello.  Actually it was a jello jiggler.  I didn't realize that she is not a fan of eating them but she had a ton of fun squishing it everywhere!

This is the kind of snow I knew in southern Utah.  Life is so differnt now!  :) I will posts pics of snow from our life now soon.

Thought this was the cutest pic.  The boys talked her into sleeping a clothes basket.  It looked so uncomfortable I moved her but not before I recorded it.

The colors of fall.  I took these at the spin park in SG.  The colors were so pretty.  The older I get the more I appreciate and kind find beauty in the simplest things.  I'm grateful that God created so much beauty for us to appreciate.

Scott, Andrew and Mundy Dutton.  Andrew being is usual stubborn won't let me take pics.  I hope he outgrows that soon.

Lilly and Mykenna chillin.

Love this face!

Jonah being a monkey.

An unguarded moment.  He was throwing a ball or something to his cousin.

Jeremy with his pal Cody who used to live across the street from us.

This park is so fun, as long as it isn't summer.  There is too much metal to make it enjoyable then, but if your kids like to spin and get dizzy this is the place to be!  :)

Last Days as St. Georgians

Mykenna and the boys playing Legos.

We took the pics down below to help Lilly
remember her family members after we moved.

Lilly and Aunt Heather.

Lilly and Grandpa Dutton.

Lilly and Grandma Dutton.

Lilly and daddy.

Mykenna and Lilly. These two sure
love each other a lot.

Lilly and Uncle Scott.

I wanted to post a couple of pics. This
is the boys bathroom after I painted it.
I had to say goodbye to this frog shower
curtain I had for years. It was pretty worn
out.

The Kitchen in disarray.

The boys' room after it was painted. Looking
very empty.

This is Mundy's and my room after it was painted.
Why oh why did I wait so long to do all the painting?

Halloween 2011

from left to right we have Lilly, Jeremy,
Mykenna, Justin, Paige, Kody, Jonah, Akira,
and Zane. This is the group we took Trick-or-
Treating. Andrew decided he needed to go
with some other friends and I was upset to
realize I didn't get a pic of him.

Sadly besides these pics all I have are
some video of Jonah and Jeremy doing
the annual parade (read walk around the
school) at Panorama. I'll have to do better
this year!!

Lilly's antics

I love this pic of these two little gals. Akira is my
cousin Melissa's daughter. I know that Lilly misses
both her and Paige. The two little girls I used to
watch in SG.

Lilly loves to do this ever since we bought
her the dress she has on this pic. It's hard
knowing wether to let her play or not since
these are her Sunday dresses. And of course
little Paige making faces at me in the background.

This is the kind of thing that happens when
you are doing chores around the house and
do not keep your eyes on this little one. Are
you wondering what that is on the window?
Permanant marker! Luckily she stayed away
from the walls since we had already painted
them! This is why she's my little turkey!!
Sometimes I call her that in frustration or
exasperation or in love depends on the moment.

She's like her brothers falling asleep
in odd places.

My cool angel.

Playing night night with Paige.

This is what happens when I'm going
through paperwork and not paying
attention. She was soaked as was the
counter and floor. Once I figured out
what she was doing I just checked on
her because at least she was safe.

She the cutest when she's asleep especially
with Baba (Dora).
