Jan-March 2011 pics

Here are a couple of cute lil pics of Lilly. If I try to feed

her before lunch sometimes she too tired to eat. She

doesn't pull this too often though because she is like me

and is a light sleeper and usually has to be in bed streched

out to be able to sleep.

These pics are from the skate park. Lilly and I played

at the adjacent park because she likes to try and get

into the area where the riders are riding and it's

nearly impossible to keep her out let alone try to take

pics of the boys doing their tricks with her around.

Jonah hung out with us too, he's not as into skate-

boarding and such as his big brothers are.

This day we were hanging out in the backyard on

a nice spring afternoon. Andrew wanted to shoot

his bb gun. He was kind enough to let Jeremy

have a turn, which doesn't always happen. Lilly

and Jonah had fun on the tramp and their

hair was standing up from all static.

Here is Lilly munching her first ice cream

cone. She loved it and was quite messy

by the end of it.

Jonah and Jeremy were making

there valentine boxes and Lilly decided

to help out by climbing in it. Of course

it's on the table that makes it that much

more fun. I'm really surprised she hasn't

fallen off the dining room table, except the

one time that was my fault.

I just had to show off this cute little hat.

She hasn't worn it much, but this pic

turned out really cute.

Christmas time 2010

The 3 pictures above are pictures my sis Amanda

took for me. I thought it would be cute to get

Lilly in her cute Christmas dress and take some

pictures. These turned out great and I can't wait

for the family pics she just took to get here!

Here are some pics from Christmas morning.

They boys' mom spent it with us since she lives

and California and it turned out really well. The

boys got spoiled rotten and Lilly got some fun

things too. I figure at this age she doesn't know

the difference yet so we didn't go all out, but she

got some new pj's, piano, and some other new

toys. It was a nice Christmas. The boys favorite

gifts were DSi XL for Jonah and Jeremy and

Andrew got his phone to keep in touch with his

mom now that she is Cali.

These are pics for Jonah's Christmas concert.

Unfortunatly I must have had the shakes this

day because the pics did not turn out. I tried

to get some pics of his cousins too since they

are also in the concert but they were all to fuzzy.

It was pretty cute though. And of course I ended

up missing some of it because Lilly ended up

throwing up during this concert so I was trying

to get it cleaned up before anybody slipped on it.

Andrew's and Jeremy's personalities

The above video is showing Andrew's personality as

he records Jeremy pushing mom over the edge, literally.

I thought it would be fun for you to hear what he's like

these days.

As I was looking at pics and videos to put on the blog

I realized this was the first time I had heard Jeremy's

recording. He sure had a lot of fun with this and I

thought you would like to hear this side of him.

Misc. end of 2010 pics

Here is my brother Daniel and his wife Megan. I believe this picture was taken at Christmas. Shortly before they found at they were expecting. They kept it from their family until she was 12 weeks along! I don't know how they could sit on that kind of info for that long! Lilly found this apple sitting on grandma's table. She munched on it for about 1/2 an hour. The thing was so big she could barely hang on to it. Here is Jeremy goofing off with his friend Cody in the background. Of course Andrew is trying to hide his face. Lately to get any pics of Andrew I have to threaten him. We were at Jumping Jacks in this pic and the next few ones. They have several bounce houses set up in a warehouse and we go every once in a while. This time the boys really needed to get some wiggles out. It was near Thanksgiving and we'd had some cold weather so everybody was feeling stir crazy. They have a big fan for all the kids to cool off with. Jonah's enjoying the breeze. Lilly was scared of all the big colorful puffy things that were not stable (bounce houses) so I spent my time following her around while she watched everybody play. She also pretended to play video games and played with the kiddie toys. Andrew on the move. One of his favorite things to do right now is to chase his brothers around. This is a great place to do that except that they are not supposed to run, but do you think the Dutton boys pay attention to the rules when there is fun involved??? Andrew is in beginning band this year and is playing the clarinet. He was orginally going to the play the sax but was told that learning the clarinet was the same as the sax, except it was easier to start with. He wants to play the bass sax, which is a huge instrument, next year. We will have to see. This pic is from their Christmas concert. Lilly often does a wake up call for Jeremy in the mornings. He sleeps on a trundle and so he's at the perfect height for Lilly to climb all over him in the morning. The boys and I went on a hike with my dad one day during Christmas break. We hiked one of the nearest volcano knolls. The boys had a ton of fun going up and down the slopes. Here is Jonah resting in the shade. Andrew was antsy to have the snack I brought (as he eats like a horse already!!)so he stuck close to me. Grandpa was trying to get pictures. He really enjoys scenic views. Jonah and Jeremy were in their own little world while we were there and it was really nice to see them play together so well. That doesn't happen as often as I'd like. And like Jonah is showing here we had to empty shoes often and still brought quite a bit of lava rock home in shoes, pants and sweaters. I love this pic. They were all cuddled up. I don't ususally let them sleep together because they get all riled up, rough house and then someone ends up getting hurt. They must have been exhausted on this night. The video below is from Jumping Jacks. The kids had a blast and burned off a lot of energy.

A few pics from last year.

Well I know you are all saying, "IT's about

time Vera!" I know. This has just been a crazy

6 months. As many of you know the boys are

with us full time now. There mother is divorced

and living in California now. There has been a lot

of adjustment for all involved. It's been tough on

the boys not being able to see there mother as

often as they are used to but they are doing there

best. It seems I have a lot less time to do things, like

keep up on my blog like before. So hopefully you will

be understanding. I was going to have a lot more pics

for you guys but the system is not working in my

favor and won't let me download any more pics, so

I'll have to try another day. Hopefully sooner then

later. Right now we are trying to get our backyard

looking good so we are spending a lot of time out there.

Hopefully our hard work will help us get a backyard

I can throw the kids in and they can enjoy. These

pics are all from last year and I still have many from

last year to post including Christmas.

About the pics: A couple of cute pics of her climbing

into things.

The boys enjoyed Halloween and their mom was here

to help do the make-up.

Jonah was a chef. I really

think one day he will be. He has his own play kitchen

and loves to help me when I let him.

Jeremy was a plumber/Batman/wizard. It was his

idea and I figured if he was happy then it was all good!

Andrew wanted to be really scary and with the help

of his mom's artistic talent I think they accomplished

it.

Lilly was a little bug again. It is the same costume she

wore last year, but this year was the last year. She

won't fit into it next year. She had fun going around

and getting candy and being able to eat some of it.
