We are all in trouble now...

Man I have to say this totally bites! People kept saying it was going to happen and I truly didn't want to believe it. Now that it has happened I'm just sick with anticipation of how quickly and fully this country is going to be facing some real big problems. I truly do not understand how he(who must not be named) could win. He has no loyalty nor love for this country. It breaks my heart and all I can do is hope & pray that none of my loved ones will be hurt by all his radical and stupid/selfish ideas. I love this country and I fear for her future.

Jack-O-Lantern's

Well I've been trying to be better to find activities for my family to do to spend more time together doing positive things. This is tonights results. Andrew did his completely on his own as did Mundy(who's pumpkin is not pictured) Jonah and Jeremy designed there very own as well as they got to clean out their own pumpkins. Mundy and I helped them cut out their pumpkins as they are a little young to do it themselves. Which Jonah proved by cutting himself with a knife

while playing with his pumpkin. Such a small cut and so much drama that came with it!. Overall it was a very good night and we will have a lot of pumpkin seeds to bake, which everybody is looking forward to.

Coincidence or not???

When I was telling my cousin Rachel about the pregnancy, my cousin Vijay pointed out that it was due the day after my grandmother's birthday. (By the way Vij, how did you remember that birthday? I would have had no clue until right around that time? Amazing!) As a lot of you know my first girl is going to be called Lily Ann because this name has been picked out since my grandmother passed away and I loved that woman dearly. She was my rock through some very trying times. Another point of interest is that when I went to get the dr's preg test I told the Doc the first day of my last period was Sept. 19 because I knew it was around there somewhere. Well I when I came home I checked it out and found out it was actually the 18th! That means my baby (hopefully a girl as everybody including Mundy and I are rooting for) is due on my Grandmother's birthday! What say you is it a coink-a-dink or not?

Big news!!!!

After trying basically since we've been married I am finally pregnant!!!! WooooooHOooooooo! I found out Friday Oct. 23rd. I wasn't going to tell anyone but my excitment and my own devil's advocate (you know who you are) coerced me to do it. My due date is supposed to be June 28, which means that I am six weeks along. We really hope we get a girl!!!

New Calling

So I go in to the bishop a few weeks ago with Mundy and I thinking we are going to be asked to be the Cub Scout Pack leaders and get the shock of my life instead. I took these pictures to show you the possibility of what my face might have looked like when they told me what they wanted me to do. Unfortunatly, I wasn't prepared for this so I didn't take the camera to get the true expression. They told me that they had been watching me for a couple of months with this calling in mind. Are they crazy? I think so, Mundy disagrees. I've been asked to be the Relief Society President. Just when I thought life couldn't get any crazier. So I bawled for the next 30 minutes or so and took a walk to compose myself before church started and then I started the stake out to see who I wanted to be my counselors and secretary. Thanks to the advice of a wonderful cousin and some inspirtation (I hope) I had picked out these ladies within a few days. On Sunday they will set me apart. All I can ask of all of you is keep my in your prayers, please!

Debate

I am a bit mystified. I watched the second presidential debate last night and then listened to people calling into a Las Vegas radio station with their comments. Everybody was complaining because it was "boring". That they didn't show any enthusiasm. Etc. Etc. I thought the point of debate was to prove your point about a subject not entertain 'the people'. What say you?

The many ways the men in my life sleep....

Crazy isn't it? I could actually have had more to put on here but my boys often just sleep in their undies and I don't really think it appropriate to share those, ya know? So as a greenie and hoping I kind of know what I'm talking about... I tag all who read to show me how your kids, spouses, etc. sleep. I'll share a little story with you before I close this post. One night Mundy came out from the boys' room and said go see Jonah. I went in and looked on his bed, no Jonah, I looked on Jeremy's bed, no Jonah, looked on the floor, no Jonah. Then I looked under his bed, there is Jonah! I love it!!!

Bad Cat!!

This is a picture of what my cat did to me. Mean, Mean cat. This was actually a couple of days after it happened. If I was that kind of person, he would have been cat stew. Since I'm not he ended up outside. Mean, mean cat!!!

Yesterday the boys and I went over to Aunt Cindy's (Mundy's aunt) house and the boys were playing in the front yard. A couple of kids walked by with a rabbit and my kids had to hold it. Then of course they were trying to talk me into getting a rabbit. My answer was no. A fish, a cat and two dogs are enough pets for our household!!!
Here are pictures of my little tree monkeys. Anytime they have opportunity they take advantage of it. Yet another reason they love Aunt Cindy's!!

Meet Megan!!

Meet Megan Bulloch. She and Daniel have been seeing each other for about a couple of months now. They actually met about 4 weeks before she was to leave on her mission, but they really liked each other and wanted to see where things could go so she put her call on hold for six months. I don't know that there has been a day they haven't spent together since then. She is teeny in stature compared to Daniel's 6'1". Her ring finger is a bit smaller then my pinky! I told Daniel that he was trying to reintroduce redheads back into the family lines (my father's side).

This is a picture of them on their engagment day which was Saturday September 6th. Daniel, after talking to her dad a few days before, took Megan on a hike over looking the city of Ivins, then propsed and gave her a ring. The ring is really pretty it was my Grandmother Isom's engagment ring. They are planning on getting married the 27th of December. Daniel says that he feels really lucky. I happen to think so too. She's a good woman and I'm glad to have her as part of the family. Welcome Megan!!
