Too Awesome!
Yesterday I got to hear the heart beat for the first time! Man was that so neat! I couldn't quit grinnin'. Unfortunatly right after that I went to the labs to give blood and forgot that I hadn't eaten or drank much so I got really sick and almost passed out because the phlebotomist kept diggin for the vein and it kept rolling on her. I got so sick and yucky feeling I didn't even go see Twilight with mom, Amanda and Megan last night. I heard it was pretty good and stuck close to the book so I still really wanna see it!

Thankful Thursday
I've realized that through the last couple of weeks I've been quite whiny about my condition so I think this excercise will be good for me...
1.My Savior Jesus Christ. Who loves me so much he died for me and offered me a way Home.
2. My Father in Heaven who listens to my prayers, maybe even when they are not my best offering.
3. Scriptures. So much to learn!
4.My calling. To meet people I might not have otherwise to see others who's suffering is much worse then my petty little problems
5. service. I love to help others!
6. home. A roof over my head what more can one say?
7. vehicles that run. What a pain when they don't.
8. sisters that loan us cars when ours don't run.
9. sisters that listen to me vent all my feelings and I can do the same for.
10. brothers that keep life interesting.
11.Husbands who do all that they can to make sure I am taken care of especially when I wont do it for myself.
12. Kids who keep life interesting and fun.
13. medicine. you don't know what your missing until you can't have it!
14.miracles. including the one growing within me!
15.hope. where would we be without it.
16.goals. Where would we get without them?
17.sun. I love it!
18. food. yum yum(most of the time anyways)
19. water. the sustenance of life!
20.trees. bring on the shade!
21.friends. who would i have to complain too after i get through my family?
22. holidays. bringing families together.
23. weddings. bringing families together.
24. temples. bringing families together forever!
25.plants. ahh fresh air! and oh so pretty.
26.ocean. i could stare at it for days.
27. forests. like up in Oregon so beautiful!
28. love. what a super emotion!
29. internet. what a great invention
30. bed. where I'm headed!

The first thing I don't like about pregnancy...
Man how are you supposed to get rid of migrains? I woke up with one Monday morning with one and it has lingered even til this evening, 7pm the next day! It has made me even more nauseas. I've actually lost weight with it! If anybody has a good trick let me know. I got so desperate I got Tylenol in hopes it would help a little because it usually doesn't do a thing... Yuck!

We are all in trouble now...
Man I have to say this totally bites! People kept saying it was going to happen and I truly didn't want to believe it. Now that it has happened I'm just sick with anticipation of how quickly and fully this country is going to be facing some real big problems. I truly do not understand how he(who must not be named) could win. He has no loyalty nor love for this country. It breaks my heart and all I can do is hope & pray that none of my loved ones will be hurt by all his radical and stupid/selfish ideas. I love this country and I fear for her future.

Coincidence or not???
When I was telling my cousin Rachel about the pregnancy, my cousin Vijay pointed out that it was due the day after my grandmother's birthday. (By the way Vij, how did you remember that birthday? I would have had no clue until right around that time? Amazing!) As a lot of you know my first girl is going to be called Lily Ann because this name has been picked out since my grandmother passed away and I loved that woman dearly. She was my rock through some very trying times. Another point of interest is that when I went to get the dr's preg test I told the Doc the first day of my last period was Sept. 19 because I knew it was around there somewhere. Well I when I came home I checked it out and found out it was actually the 18th! That means my baby (hopefully a girl as everybody including Mundy and I are rooting for) is due on my Grandmother's birthday! What say you is it a coink-a-dink or not?

Big news!!!!
After trying basically since we've been married I am finally pregnant!!!! WooooooHOooooooo! I found out Friday Oct. 23rd. I wasn't going to tell anyone but my excitment and my own devil's advocate (you know who you are) coerced me to do it. My due date is supposed to be June 28, which means that I am six weeks along. We really hope we get a girl!!!

New Calling
So I go in to the bishop a few weeks ago with Mundy and I thinking we are going to be asked to be the Cub Scout Pack leaders and get the shock of my life instead. I took these pictures to show you the possibility of what my face might have looked like when they told me what they wanted me to do. Unfortunatly, I wasn't prepared for this so I didn't take the camera to get the true expression. They told me that they had been watching me for a couple of months with this calling in mind. Are they crazy? I think so, Mundy disagrees. I've been asked to be the Relief Society President. Just when I thought life couldn't get any crazier. So I bawled for the next 30 minutes or so and took a walk to compose myself before church started and then I started the stake out to see who I wanted to be my counselors and secretary. Thanks to the advice of a wonderful cousin and some inspirtation (I hope) I had picked out these ladies within a few days. On Sunday they will set me apart. All I can ask of all of you is keep my in your prayers, please!

Debate
I am a bit mystified. I watched the second presidential debate last night and then listened to people calling into a Las Vegas radio station with their comments. Everybody was complaining because it was "boring". That they didn't show any enthusiasm. Etc. Etc. I thought the point of debate was to prove your point about a subject not entertain 'the people'. What say you?
