update

Just a quick update. I went to the doctor Thursday, the first of the weekly appts, and found out I'm dialated to a 1. So it begins. I've been feeling okay, about as okay as you can at this point anyway. I've decided I have two major things to look forward to, holding her skin to skin and sleeping on my stomach! Not long now! I have just less then 4 weeks. Crazy isn't? Other then that we have a really quiet house as the boys will be gone for 3 weeks starting last Wednesday. Mundy is going nuts right now, getting laid off was hard enough on him then last weekend he dislocated his shoulder so he is very limited in what he can do. For someone that is always tinkering with something it's been a struggle. We know that we have been very blessed despite all this and we are truly grateful for all we've been given from our Father in Heaven. The biggest of these is our sweet Lilly who will soon arrive. I love to picture her up there talking to her namesake before she comes, it brings me great joy!

Lil doc

I wish I had had my camera with me, but it was too cute not to share anyways. I went for a doctor's appt. and Mundy and Jonah came with me. Doc let Jonah help him out so the first thing he tried to do was grab the measuring tape. Doc said, "Too late, I already have it". Then Jonah handed him the "toothpaste" he'd grabbed off the table. After Doc put some on he let Jonah find the heartbeat which was a huge thrill for him. He had a huge grin on his face. He actually found the heartbeat really quickly and then wanted to just move it around. We had to tell him to go back to where he started. He loved that he could help the doctor and could hear the heartbeat again, which he said sounded like a lion. Doc said that we had a lil' doc on our hands. It was really cute to witness all that.

belated pic

All right! Here is my ugly pic! This is
me on a bad everything day. I went to
work and was completely exhausted so
came home early. Things are going well
though. Lilly is a mover and shaker. She
is right on in size and everything. Mundy
and I are taking prenatal classes now. Last
night was about labor and delivery and I
think I'm wimping out on the whole
going natural thing. I could maybe do it
if it was a quick one, but hours on end?
Not likely! I think I'll tell the doc I'll start
natural, but want the anesthesiologist on
hand just in case! On Saturday I will be
at 34 weeks! I can't believe how close it
is getting! I just hope the ultrasound
didn't show it wrong. Mundy made a
comment about be carrying low and
that night I had a dream about it being
a boy and we had to start over with the
clothes etc. since we were prepped for
a boy! It's been a worry ever since.
Oh well,
just another
one to add to
the list of
worries!
Thanks for
all the love
and support.

Science Fair

Andrew loves
doing the science
fairs. Actually
all the boys wanted
to do one but I knew
we wouldn't be able
to keep up with doing
one for all of them

with everything else
we have going on right
now to. I decided since
Andrew has only one
more year after this
I would make sure he
got the chance to do
this and he's planning
it since last year.
Hopefully next year
we can do better and
get the other boys
involved. Andrew
with the help of his
dad did an experiment
of making plastic out
of milk, cream, lemon
juice, and/or vinegar. They had a lot of fun
experimenting with the different combinations. He
didn't place as he was hoping so we are waiting on
the judges notes to find out what we can do to
improve for next year.

Soccer!

Soccer time
again! All of the
boys enjoy playing
soccer and this is
Jonah's first year
actually playing.
We are a little
disappointed that
his coach is not

actually doing practices
with his team. But he
has fun whether he's
running after the ball
or running in circles
with his arms out.
Andrew is the one
that takes soccer
the most seriously.
He's loved playing
ever since we enrolled
him. He's taken a few
to the gut this year, but
he keeps playing. Jeremy
is showing a lot more
interest this year. Last
year he was all about
climbing the trees, and staying out of the game so
he could do that. This year he only wants to climb
trees when he's sitting out. It's been great to see him
get more involved this year. His next game he gets
to be captain and help decide who plays where on
the field. He's really excited about it.

Derby Car

Hey I thought
I would share
with you the
fruit of Andrew's,
Mundy's and
Brady's labor.
Andrew designed
and sanded the car.

Mundy did most of
the wood working
with his dremel, etc.
He's not quite
ready to let
Andrew do that yet.
Brady is Mundy's
co-worker and
friend who makes
derby cars and sells
them on the internet. He offered to paint
the car as he has all the equipment needed to do it and do it neat. If you
can't tell he has a pearlized paint on this and I think
it turned out awesome! Andrew is over the top
with the outcome and is looking forward to the
races on Thursday. Hopefully I'll get some pictures
from that event and will post them when we get back
from Manti.

3 months to go!

Here I am in all my pregnant glory!

People actually
are starting to
notice how big
I'm getting but
as soon as I tell
them how far a
long I am they
say you are so
small! I have to
admit to them,
that I may be
smaller then
some women at this stage, but I feel huge and awkward! I waddle like a duck for one thing! Mostly I feel really good but the nausea has come back a little. Luckily it's not as bad as it was there for a couple of months and it's not constant. Mostly I have problems with the aching rib, sciatic nerve, occasional back aches(mostly from sleeping) and the aching leg while I'm sleeping. Everytime I bring these up with the doc he says"You are experiencing that already? Well it's going to get worse." I just keep thinking 'thanks a lot!' Other then that Lilly Ann is a mover and kicker. The boys love to feel her move and I love to see the expression on their face when they do. I even had Jonah climb in bed with me a couple of mornings just so he could feel her move before I got out of bed. It's really cute. Everything is going really good with her and from what we can tell she is very healthy. As of my last appt I'm going in every 3 weeks instead of 4 so the countdown has begun! I want to tell you that I love you all and really appreciate the gifts, the support and the love you have given me. I'm continually reminded of what wonderful family and friends I have. FYI- there is another post after this one!

BBQ @ Aunt Cindy's

We had a BBQ at
Aunt Cindy's house
and then after that
the boys played with
bubbles in her backyard.
I tried to get better
pictures but they kept
going out in the sun and

I couldn't get good
pictures out of them.
And of course during
dinner nobody wanted
to cooperate either.
Justin, in the green
shirt, loves to play with
his cousins and they
to play with him too.

Okay I need some back up now....

How many of you, that have been pregnant, had some really 'far out there' dreams? Like seriously I wouldn't tell most people about some of them because they are so wacky and out there. They are all over the place from Jonah almost getting smashed from a 3 or 4 story fall to mermaid type girls that have tunnels under the lake they swim through, to less mentionable subjects. It's weird because my dream will include all kinds of people I don't usually dream about, cousins, ex-neighbors, ex-boyfriends, etc. So please tell me I'm not the only one!!
